ABOUT
Ayder is a small village that lies at the edge of the Kackar range at an altitude of 1100m in Rize Province, with the highest peak (Kackar Dagi) at an elevation of 3937 meters. Ayder is about 2 hours away from Trabzon airport. You will ski at altitudes 1500m – 3700m. The length of the runs varies from 500 to 1400 vertical meters. There are more than 350 different runs mostly in the open valleys but there are some tree skiing as well.
The nearest heliskiing area is only a 5 minute flight away from the hotel. The next heliskiing areas are 20-25 min from each other.
Accomodation in Aider at the hotel Hasimoglu***. It’s a small, family run mountain resort with 70 rooms. It was built in 2004 and totally renewed in 2016. It is a very cozy hotel, with a nice homely atmosphere and with its customer-focused management style that aims to surpass customer expectations by making them feel the comfort of their homes. Each room has its private bathroom with shower, direct dialing phone service, satellite TV, mini bar, hairdryer, wireless internet connection throughout the hotel.
