Our journey stars in the capital of Bolivia, La Paz, which is situated at the altitude of 3600m. Stone formations, which have been carved by winds and rains, spread near La Paz. This labyrinth of canyons and rocks looks like an extraterrestrial landscape. That is why the place is named “Moon Valley”. Then we will drive by “The Death Road”. This is the narrow road that comes though a subtropical forest with a great number of waterfalls.
We also offer you a jeep-tour along the world’s largest salt flat Salar de Uyuni. It is located at the elevation of 4000 meters and contains about 10 billion tones of salt. During the rainy season the salt flat covers with a thin layer of water and becomes the world’s largest smooth surface. You will be surprised when you see our hotel, which is built with salt.
During our trip we will see huge cactuses, vicunas and many lagoons of different colors and with a lot of flamingoes. We will get to the highest point – 5000m and will plunge into hot springs. A night in tents will let us an opportunity to watch a starry sky in “The Garden of Stones”. The stars seem to be closer at that altitude!
